All turbines must be installed on a tall tower.  Tower heights range from 80' to 120'.  Costs range from $18,000 to $85,000 depending on the turbine model and tower type/size. 

Several turbine brands are available through PIMBY including Abundant Renewable Energy, Bergey Windpower, and Southwest Windpower.  These manufacturers all offer durable turbines in differing size classes.  PIMBY can guide you to a decision on which turbine will work best in your backyard.  PIMBY offers both sales and installation of these turbines.

 This Bergey XL.1 is the smallest turbine that we install.  It is used for off-grid homes and is usually combined with a PV array.  This system is in Cranesville, WV.
